12 brave bowlers took part in the Chairman’s Shield on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Point were awarded only for bowls within a meter of the jack. In spite of heavy rain interrupting play the Final took place between David Balderson (the Chairman!) and John Brooks, with John turning over a deficit of 3 to win by one point. Congratulations and thanks to everyone for playing in very wet conditions, and our thanks to Steve Littlewood for organising the afternoon.
