Played on Tuesday 10th September. The scores remained close and just as the rain started it was 11-11. Jim got to 16-13 before Pauline won 4 of the next 5 ends with one end tied to get close to the finishing line 19-16. The scriptwriters knew we wanted a cliff hanger ending so Jim scored a 2 and a 1 to go into the 28th end 19-19.
The match concluded with Pauline taking two shots on the last end to secure victory. Congratulations to Pauline and commiserations to Jim. A very worthy final.
